Simple Everyday Floral Card

26.6.17 0 Comments
Hello all,

Inspired by this lovely card I found online, this card is perfect for giving to a friend 'just because', or with a change of greeting can be customised for any occasion. I love how simple this card it is to make and how easy it is to modify. :)
The supplies I used to make this card were Close to my Heart's Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pads in Lagoon, Pear, and Gypsy (retired), and the Wavy Blooms, Sending Smiles, and A Thousand Thanks Stamp sets.

Lovely Birthday

Hello sweet blog-readers!

This is a simple little card I made a while ago for a friend who is a flautist. The stamps I used for this card were from Close To My Heart's 'Delightfully Ditty' and 'Joyful Birthday' stamp sets. I love the versatility of this layout, and I have used it for many different types of cards! It is very easy to personalise by switching up the images or adding embellishments.

I'm joining up with Bizzy Bec's June challenge - pop over and check out her blog for some pretty card-making inspiration! :)

Be Kind | iPhone Lockscreen

Hello,

Here is a quick little iPhone/mobile phone lock screen I made just the other day for you to enjoy. The quote is inspired by the Bible verse Ephesians 4:32 "Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."
I think we all need a little reminder to be kind every day, so what better way to do that than put it on your phone lock screen! :)

Have a simply lovely day!

Simple Handmade Wedding Card

I've had a few lovely friends get married recently, and this is one of the cards I made to congratulate the happy couples. I love simplistic, minimalistic design so I tried to keep this card as simple with mostly monochromatic colours and a pop of an accent colour.

To make this card I created a cut file from a vector graphic I found on a website called http://www.freepik.com/ (you can find the specific file I used here), and a doily shape from the 'Cricut Alphabet' cartridge. I used Close to my Heart papers and a mixture of other bits and pieces I have in my craft stash.

Also, I am linking up today's post with I Should Be Mopping the Floor's Inspiration Monday Linkup Party. Hop on over to enjoy an assortment of lovely crafts/recipes/diy's/etc!

Sending Smiles Card

In my (limited) free time I enjoy card making, so I hope to share some of my little creations on this blog. This card is quite a sweet, versatile card that can be used for a 'just because' note, or I've even used this as a birthday card before. :)
First I cut the cupcake shapes out with my Cricut Explore, then stamped the cupcakes on using Close to My Heart's 'Cutie Pie' stamp set & added a greeting from the 'Sending Smiles' stamp set. Super quick and easy! It's not perfect, as you can see, but I like to think that the imperfectness gives it some rustic charm ;)
