Psalm 25:5 - Calligraphy

Hello lovelies,

Lately (amongst the busy-ness of keeping up with my uni assignments!) I have been really enjoying practicing calligraphy/typography. I've always loved design and hand lettering, and my work is far from perfect but I love it. This is a quick little scripture poster I made for a dear friend this morning. :)

By the way, I can't take credit for the pretty flat-lay. It was one of the 6 weekly freebies on Creative Market for this week - isn't it gorgeous?! Such a lovely way to showcase your work.

Have a beautiful week!

A Happy Accident

Hello blog readers,

So, as I warned promised last week I'm sharing another card I've made recently. This card, believe it or not, originated from an accident! I was attempting to make a card like this one I found on Pinterest, but my stamping just didn't look right when I was finished. However, I did not want to throw away the card. So I decided to stamp a simple greeting on a plain piece of card and mount it on some coloured cardstock.

Things I used to make this card:
Lovely Birthday stamp set from Close to My Heart
Beloved Bouquet stamp set from Close to My Heart
CTMH Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pads in Smoothie, Black, & Pear
Brushed paper packet from Close to My Heart

Have a lovely week!

Seaside Birthday Greetings

Hello lovelies,

I've been card-making again! (Be prepared for more card posts over the next few weeks because I am so excited to chow you the little stash I've made!!)
Story time about this card: A couple of years ago I bought a mystery pack from Close to My Heart during a promotion and it included the Tommy Assortment Embellishments. For the longest time I've had no idea what to do with them! I've always struggled making boyish cards - girls are so much easier to make cards for in my opinion haha! Anyway, the other day I finally decided to get creative and use them. I honestly don't know why I didn't use them before because they are so cuteeee! I think they really complete these cards!

To make these cards I used my CTMH stamp set Seaside Greetings with black ink and blue cardstock from spotlight.

Have a happy, crafty week :)

Simple Everyday Floral Card

Hello all,

Inspired by this lovely card I found online, this card is perfect for giving to a friend 'just because', or with a change of greeting can be customised for any occasion. I love how simple this card it is to make and how easy it is to modify. :)
The supplies I used to make this card were Close to my Heart's Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pads in Lagoon, Pear, and Gypsy (retired), and the Wavy Blooms, Sending Smiles, and A Thousand Thanks Stamp sets.

Lovely Birthday

Hello sweet blog-readers!

This is a simple little card I made a while ago for a friend who is a flautist. The stamps I used for this card were from Close To My Heart's 'Delightfully Ditty' and 'Joyful Birthday' stamp sets. I love the versatility of this layout, and I have used it for many different types of cards! It is very easy to personalise by switching up the images or adding embellishments.

I'm joining up with Bizzy Bec's June challenge - pop over and check out her blog for some pretty card-making inspiration! :)
